New Lab Members
The lab is excited to welcome Dr. Rongxin Cheng! Dr. Cheng will join the lab in January 2026 as a post-doctoral research scholar after completing her PhD in Social/Personality Psychology at UC Davis. Welcome, Dr. Cheng!

The Psychology PhD students voted Dr. Antonoplis Faculty of the Year for 2024–2025!
Grants
Dr. Antonoplis was awarded an OASIS Grant from UC Riverside to study how the Big Five personality traits predict nine socioeconomic resources across the lifespan, during both economic recessions and expansions.
New Research
Antonoplis (2024, Social and Personality Psychology Compass) developed a theoretical framework for studying how personality impacts social structure and how social structure impacts personality.
Luo et al. (2024, Journal of Personality) examined how people’s education, income, and occupational prestige predicted the development of their personality traits in adulthood.
